Villa Trier is a modern two-floor chalet. The stairwell acts as the main element in the composition. The steep slope roof faces both sides of the house. To the back we find an extension of the house that also has a smaller "A" shaped roof. This is a typical feature of traditional German architecture.

The first floor is clearly divided in two areas: first the living/dining sector with expansion to the exterior by the means of sliding glass doors.
